人民廣場（Narodni Trg , the People's Square, the Central City Square） 

參觀完海港城門後，找到遊客中心，原來就位於人民廣場角落。

進入遊客中心之後，櫃檯小姐立刻拿出日文簡介給我們。

「We can’t understand it. Do you have the Chinese version?」

「Chinese? What in the hell are you doing here during the Olympics?」

喔！她把我們想成是大陸人了。

「We are not from Mainland China. We are from Taiwan.」

「Thailand?」

「No. Taiwan. Anyway, we are from a different country. We also speak Chinese.」

最後當然還是拿英文版。那一張地圖真是太棒了，地圖把札達爾古城半島的重要景點標出來，我們按圖索驥，幾乎看到了每一個景點。簡介「Zadar in your pocket」裡面有許多資訊，可以上網找喔（www.inyourpocket.com）！

市政廳所在的人民廣場（People's Square），自文藝復興時期起就是札達爾居民的生活中心。小巧的教堂the Church of St. Lawrence建於11世紀。咖啡店 - Sveti Lovre，建築在教堂的外面，裡面穿透教堂。想參觀St. Lawrence可以從咖啡館後方進入。市政廳（City hall）建於1935年。

廣場北邊的建築物Town Guard Loggia（Gradska straža）建於1562，鐘塔（the Central Clock Tower）建於19世紀。

南邊的the Municipal Loggia （Gradska loža）重建於1565年，曾經是法院與圖書館，現在為展覽中心。
